My
Story

Psychology and human behaviour have been deep interests of mine since I was 14. I explored them in part during my successful career as a Brand & Marketing manager by creating brands based on deep research into customers’ needs. However, I found this career overwhelming and exhausting, and it sometimes conflicted with my values and character.

After giving birth to my daughter, I delved deeper into the topics of child development and parenting, and soon discovered that my daughter is highly sensitive. This explained why none of the usual recommendations regarding leisure, sleep, stimulation, etc. worked for her. I encountered a lack of understanding from other mothers and relatives who did not support me or my methodologies during this difficult time. However, I listened to my heart and remained open to my child's needs.

I explored the topic of High Sensitivity further and soon discovered that my husband and I are highly sensitive too, not just my daughter. This explained all my challenges and personal traits. It felt as if I had finally found all the pieces of a puzzle and could see the whole picture.

This was the turning point in my decision to change my professional career and become an International Highly Sensitive Person Coach. After graduating from a Professional HSP Coach Programme at the Highly Sensitive Human Academy (London), which is certified by the International Association of Coaches, Therapists & Mentors (IACTM, Switzerland), I founded Sensitive Coaching Practice to support other HSPs on their transformative journey to wholeness and inner balance. Since April 2026 I am accredited as a coach by the IACTM

Reflecting on the early stages of my exploration of the high sensitivity trait, I am now an experienced mother of a highly sensitive six-year-old, equipped with research-based knowledge and a professional approach. Recalling my own frustrations as a parent of a highly sensitive child, I am now driven to empower other parents in similar situations. This is why I deepened my personal experience with research-based tools in a Professional Development Course for Highly Sensitive Child Practitioners at The Highly Sensitive Human Academy (London) in October 2025.

Since November 2025 I am also a Member of the AC (Association for Coaching, London), the UK-based global professional body. My practice is guided by the AC Global Code of Ethics and IACTM Code of Ethics, ensuring the highest standards of integrity and professionalism for my clients.

I offer individual coaching for HSPs of all ages and genders, as well as for those who want to understand and support their beloved HSPs better. You can find out more about my coaching approach here.

I’m also currently developing group coaching offer for parents of highly sensitive children. If you would like to be included in the early bird list for upcoming group coaching start, please go here to discover more and register.

"Working with Mariana has had a positive impact on my life — I have found an inner peace and a newfound confidence that I am on the right track. My son feels this too; he is more open and calm, and I find it easier to support him in any situation. Beyond that, I found answers to many questions about myself and my own sensitivity, and I now understand my emotions much better.

Most importantly, I gained the confidence that there is nothing 'wrong' or scary about this, and that my son is certainly not alone. I realized that his sensitivity is a natural trait, not a diagnosis or a pathology. It is a profound way of experiencing the world that gives him a depth of perception, empathy, and a unique capacity for joy. I also came to understand that I was a very sensitive child myself, and that this trait remains within me.

Thanks to our sessions, I was able to see this sensitivity not as a problem, but as a valuable quality that can be nurtured and guided in the right way."
